It is time that I share my #ImStaying story.
A while ago, a man failed to stop at a stop street and came speeding towards my car. Needless to say, we were involved in an accident. My daughter, who was 5 at the time, was with me. A gentleman who witnessed the accident, stopped, pulled over and immediately took control of the situation.
He chose to put everything on hold for a random stranger, expecting absolutely nothing in return.
He reprimanded the other driver and demanded his documentation. Upon finding out that he didn’t have any, this kind stranger proceeded to stay with me until emergency services (whom he had called) arrived.
He checked on my daughter and I continuously. He assured me that he would be my eyewitness should I need one and gave me his contact details. He was amazing throughout.
This was during early morning traffic. He was obviously on his way to work but chose to put everything on hold for a random stranger, expecting absolutely nothing in return.
