Lenasia Unites for a Cleaner Community
Lenasia residents, local organisations, and stakeholders joined forces to tackle illegal dumping and restore pride in their neighbourhood. The clean-up, led by Lenasia South-based NPO Soweto-based Project, with support from Correctional Services, community members, and local businesses, focused on clearing waste in key areas including the CBD and Protea Avenue Park. The initiative aims to promote cleaner, safer spaces while encouraging ongoing community involvement in maintaining a cleaner Lenasia.
